TW Shannon: From the beginning of his first term as president well into his second President, Trump has not only had to fight bad actors, both foreign and domestic, but also those in the media as well. Anything he does, and I do mean anything, the liberal media actually tries to spin. Yet, despite the media's feeble attempts, the success of Operation Midnight Hammer demolishing those nuke facilities in Iran is in fact the truth.

Even when they try to push radical agendas like the scary reality that can find America's largest city being led by a socialist, a young voice, an inspiring message, and of course a socialist ideology. And a Democrat. Does any of that sound familiar? But in the end, the president will prevail because common sense always wins in America.

Joining me now is Gene Valentino, Republican political strategist and the host of GrassRoots TruthCast [00:02:00] Podcast and former Obama White House official Aswani Jain. Welcome, gentlemen.

Ashwani Jain: Thank you.

TW Shannon: So I need you both to weigh in on this past, uh, this part of Thursday's Pentagon presser.

Defense Sec Pete Hegseth: Those that do proper assessments, recognize that what the United States military did was historic because you cheer against Trump so hard.

It's like in your DNA and in your blood to cheer against Trump, you have to cheer against the efficacy of these strikes. And what's really happening is you're undermining the success of incredible B two pilots and incredible F 35 pilots and incredible refuelers and incredible air defenders who accomplish their mission set back a nuclear program in ways that other presidents would've dreamed.

How about we celebrate that?

TW Shannon: So Jean, I'll start with you. Why in the world is the relationship between the media and the president? So adversarial.

Gene Valentino: Yeah. Why don't we celebrate that? I, I'll say that right up through [00:03:00] July 4th as well. I. Why don't we celebrate it? Why don't we do more of it? Because the media is an extension of a deep stake, dark shadow within our nation that tries to perpetrate the source agenda for socialistic and, uh, fascist, uh, communist.

Policies and agenda that are evidencing itself now in key estates and cities like New York. I'm not surprised, uh, this manami has arrived in New York. I'm surprised it hasn't hel, uh, happened, uh, elsewhere in this nation. But the truth is Donald Trump has stood up to that element when a lot of us were chickened to do so.

It's now incumbent upon. We, the people tw we the people to step up and step out to defend the grassroots of this nation on a local level, which is how our constitution was designed from the [00:04:00] grassroots up. Yep. Not from the top autocrats down.

TW Shannon: I, I agree. Jean, you know, you brought up a real, really important point.

Aswani, he mentioned, you know, this new, uh, candidate for the Democrats in New York City. Um, it looks like, you know, they might be actually putting this socialist into the mayor's office. Uh, Aswani is Zahran mandani the signal of a radical flip across the board from the Democrat party, or just their new shiny object for the week.

Ashwani Jain: Well, I, I definitely want to touch on the HE Press conference, but, uh, to your question about Menani, Menani win in the largest Jewish city in the nation. Is proof that progressive ideas are actually not fringe. They're mainstream. He overcame millions in establishment money and got more votes than most congressional races.

But now some are attacking him with this ugly anti-Muslim smear, uh, which is obviously racist. It's obviously unacceptable. Well, hold, hold on, hold on,

TW Shannon: hold on. Swanie. I, I don't think it's fair to call people racists because they disagree with a guy who considers themselves a socialist, right? But my question to you is.

How did [00:05:00] ranked choice voting play in this? Because he didn't get the most first choice votes. In fact, uh, he was able to get in, I think in part because of this ranked choice voting. Is that, is that the case and is he the future of the Democrat party?

Ashwani Jain: Well, he talks about very popular issues that are supported by most voters, whether you're red, blue, or in purple districts.

Medicare for all a living wage, global human rights, uh, and rank choice voting, uh, is something that actually helps and should be reformed in our election systems. It helps encourage. Younger faces, newer faces, goes against the status quo, gets big money out of politics. And I think that's what he proved in this particular case where he was running against very big heavy hitters that the Democratic establishment actually was pushing.

Uh, and so with everything said and done, he did get over 430,000 votes because of his progressive policies. Okay. And I think anyone. Who wants to talk about policies, we can do that. But they all question this. I, I wanna get,

TW Shannon: I wanna get Gene in here. Obviously he, he got a lot of votes. He had a lot of help from a lot of [00:06:00] Democrat heavy hitters too, like a OC uh, gene.

I mean, is, is this guy the future and the face of the Republican, par of the Democrat party? Is this what Democrats are gonna be, you know, doubling down on in the next election?

Gene Valentino: I don't think so. TW respectfully, um, uh, where's Nancy Pelosi? Where's Chuck Schumer, uh, where's Hakeem Jeffries? And, uh, some of the far, uh, other people other than a OCI don't see them stepping up to support this guy.

I. This guy who supports, uh, a publici, uh, governmentally controlled supermarkets, hey, advertising those supermarkets does in local media to foster an economy or even pay the advertising bill for this network are people who will not be available to. Pay for those that advertising, because under his plan, you don't need to advertise.

You have no choice. You're forced to go to the government's choice of supermarkets, which is the antithesis of a free trade society, which is our, uh, cons, which is what our, our gov, our, [00:07:00] our government is based on.

TW Shannon: Well, that, that, that makes sense to me. Now, Suwanee, we know after yesterday's Supreme Court ruling on birthright citizenship.

That was a huge win for the President, in my opinion. Where do you think this puts Democrats though in the fight for immigrants rights?

Ashwani Jain: Yeah, absolutely. Um, I'm really disappointed in the SCOTUS decision. Uh, but let's be clear, this has never been about border security because Trump is not targeting criminals.

He's targeting US residents and immigrants. Full stop. If this were really about law and order and border security, Trump would not have been constantly trying to kill birthright citizenship like he's doing now. Gut asylum processes reject bipartisan border bills. Or try to shut down the CBP app. And he would not ignore the fact that most undocumented immigrants arrive here legally and overstate a visa, which is a civil crime, like a unpaid parking ticket, not a criminal one.

And meanwhile, the last thing I'll say is meanwhile the FBI and the DHS. Say the top domestic threat in this country is white Christian [00:08:00] men, but Trump is rounding up immigrants instead. So it's the truth that this is not about safety, it's about fear.

TW Shannon: Fear money. So, uh, gene, I wanna give you the last word here.

He says that President Trump's not rounding up criminals and illegals. He's rounding up, you know, Americans and people who've just overstayed their visas. What say you about the president's immigration reform? 2 million.

Gene Valentino: 2 million undocumented illegals, some of whom are terrorists, some of whom are Iranians, and we're more worried more about them than we are the citizens of this United States.

The shoes on the wrong foot. We need strong constitutional amendments in place. He's taken a more aggressive role TW because Congress itself has not acted well. If Congress was so smart with its legislative skill sets, we wouldn't have Donald Trump cracking the whip. Because the laws would be clearer and they'd be in place for Trump to, uh, not have to act under special exceptions [00:09:00] all the time.

We need to reform this nation through constitutional amendments where the super majority in the House and Senate, I pray this midterm election gives Congress the authority to move quickly under Trump's direction to create the constitutional amendments necessary for citizenship. The border, uh, of, of freedom, of economic movement and travel.

We're not against, um, yeah. Um, immigrants, my grandparents are immigrants for crying out loud. They came in legally though. Sure. And I, and they're offended as most are. Gee, forgive me, I not legally I'm to here.

TW Shannon: I, I, I feel your passion. I share your concern. I think the president's right on this one. Gene Valentino Wan Jane, thank you both gentlemen, for being with us.

Great job. Thank you. Thank you.
