Bianca de la Garza: Attorney General Pam Bondi, on her very first day here, sworn in, takes the oath and then creates a weaponization working group. This is an effort, she says, to review politicized actions of officials who investigated President Donald Trump at both the state and the federal levels.

Pleased to bring in our panel now, Newsmax contributor Tom Borelli and host of the GrassRoots Truthcast podcast, GOP political strategist Gene Valentino. Hey guys, good to see you. 

Tom Borelli: Hello there to be with you. 

Bianca de la Garza: You know, here we [00:02:00] go. I can't wait to see what she finds out. Pam Bondi, obviously knows what she's doing.

She has a great pedigree. Tom, I'll let you start with where you think we're going to go when we start really peeling back the activities of folks like Matthew Colangelo and even down in Georgia, Nathan Wade and you know, reports that he was meeting with the White House while Fannie Willis was His girlfriend was bringing a RICO case against Donald Trump.

Tom Borelli: Yeah, could you imagine that? All of a sudden the world is going in the right direction after all the chaos under the Biden administration. Look, Pam Bondi is a serious player. She's been A prosecutor, you know, ran the attorney general spot in Florida till she got term limited out. She's going to look at all these things because at the end of the day, it's about accountability.

And soon when Kesh Patel becomes FBI director, it's really going to gear up. The American people need to know what happened, why it happened, and who was [00:03:00] involved. So that we all can see what happened. The American people deserve to know all that corruption that happened under the Biden administration, and I'm sure Pam Bondi will uncover it all.

Bianca de la Garza: I'm sure she will, too. And in your Florida guy, Gene, you see, um, you know how she has really been somebody who is understood and stood by the president. And that's something that really irks the left. But in reality, they're the ones who always say, no one's above the law. 

Gene Valentino: Yeah, the the door is swinging back the other way.

You know, this reminds me of Shakespeare's play Hamlet. Um, the phrase referred to as he doth protested too much. Um, we're watching all of these, uh, Truths coming out, uh, whether it's uh, Elon's doge group or What's going on in the house of representatives? All these uncoverings coming out have the democrats [00:04:00] running for cover in all areas and all of a sudden their Protestations are loud and strong and they're they're grasping at straws on any issue They can I hope the folks remember that For the next election as well.

Bianca de la Garza: Yeah. And you know, we've heard Trump derangement syndrome, gentlemen. And now there's a new term, Elon derangement syndrome. I want to play a little bit of a montage. This was, you know, talking about losing it and protesting too much. Democrat lawmakers actually had a rally about Elon Musk and Doge this week.

And here are some of the lowlights here for us all to enjoy. 

Elizabeth Warren: Not one libertarian in America voted for Elon Musk. Damn not one vegetarian in America voted for Elon Musk. 

Ayanna Pressley: Agitating. We will see you in the courts, in Congress, in the streets. Elon Musk is a Nazi netball baby. 

laMONICA McIVER: Shut [00:05:00] down the Senate. We

Chuck Schumer: will win. We will win. 

Bianca de la Garza: Um, I think they're just panicking because look at what we're already seeing over at USAID. If I were them, I'd be, I'd be worried about, you know, Elon Musk too. Because they're going to be on the wrong side of this, Tom. And I think deep down inside, that's really at the core of this.

Tom Borelli: Oh, absolutely. I have to refer to Genes earlier point. They are protesting too much. And to your point, they're protesting because there's a lot to be hidden in their agenda and it's all going to be uncovered. You know, the USAID money for transgender, this DEI that around the world, that's all nonsense.

The American people, What accountability for the high taxes that we pay, and the Democrats are making a huge mistake by not only picking on a billionaire, but a multi billionaire and a man who [00:06:00] is dedicated now part of his life to freedom of speech, not only United States, but around the world, so they're going to be paying for this many, many times because they're on the wrong side of these issues.

Wrong side of the facts. 

Bianca de la Garza: You know, um, we also had a story just breaking a few minutes ago, a second lawsuit filed against Trump's executive order barring transgender people from openly serving in the military. You know, it's a hill that they really want to die on there. We saw yesterday that protection of sports for women, the war on women, you know, they have clearly are so incensed that Donald Trump dare would say there's, you know, two sexes, male and female gene.

Um, but it seems like recruitment in the military is Up since, you know, Pete Haggett and others have taken over, so I'm not sure why they're continuing to file lawsuits like this, but obviously they have a lot of money. They're being funded by some deep pockets here and some activists, so they'll continue on.

Gene Valentino: Yeah, you said it exactly correct. Uh, uh, the people, uh, we always wondered whether the people were getting the [00:07:00] whole story and were voting their conscience in this last election. 70 plus percent gave Donald Trump a mandate and, uh, spurious activity coming out of nowhere to Uh, uh, forced new lawsuits through to me.

Bianca seems to be so trite and insignificant there. They're fighting a small battle on a small hill and missing the big picture. Here's a person who's surprised me. It's John Fetterman, Senator Fetterman with all his shortcomings and nuances. And that's kind of what I meant is he steps up and becomes, becomes a real player.

He's participative. He's doing what Tip O'Neill would have expected when he was a house leader, a Democrat. Boy, did he reach across the aisle for the Republicans. And I, I, I look for those Democrats who are now going to collaborate with the Republican majority. They're going to be the longterm winners. [00:08:00] 

Bianca de la Garza: He was the sole Democrat to vote for Pam Bondi, and he said a few, you know, months back, everybody just needs to chill out.
